The State of Affairs: A Plan for Revising Pages Leading up to Portraits

I enjoyed reading comments especially those posted by Mirissa, Crystal and Yilcaly.

I believe a common mistake made was that the title page was often referred to as the cover.

You all have some good ideas about improving our current draft; the next step is to put your plans into action. Rather than having each group revise all seven pages I think we need to reassign spreads and finalize pages leading up to the portraits. This may include but is not limited to the following: fix and move the administrators' pages, make type/font uniform, add candid shots and get quotes (this may require brainstorming interview questions or prompts); next, the "Teachers Gone Wild" spread may be reduced to one page and have the shared/opposite page focus on students at the dance, include captions and possible feature about the event; are there enough trip pics for a spread? Ms. Blatteau and her students took an abundance of good pics at the Yale Art Gallery yeaterday; make a plan for covering spirit week; continue getting coverage, we need more pictures of different students.

All groups are to submit/save practice pages by the end of the period. Briefly reflect on who did what in a blog post here.
